1. Who Can Use TribeLink

Age Requirement

Eligibility

To use TribeLink, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be capable of entering into a legally binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law
• Not have been previously banned from TribeLink
• Have a valid email address

One Account Per Person

Each person may maintain only one active TribeLink account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a ban or limitation is prohibited and will result in permanent removal from the platform.

2. Your Account

Registration and Identity

When you register, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account information current. Do not register using someone else's name, identity, or tribal affiliation.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tribelink.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Tribal Affiliation

TribeLink is built for Native American communities. You may represent any tribal affiliation you genuinely identify with. Falsely claiming tribal identity is a violation of these Terms and disrespects the communities we serve. TribeLink does not currently require official enrollment documentation but reserves the right to implement verification at any time.

3. Data Consent and Storage

• TribeLink collecting and storing your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy
• Your tribal affiliation being stored and displayed on your profile to other TribeLink users
• Photos you upload being stored on TribeLink servers and visible to other registered users
• Your profile information being used to generate match recommendations
• TribeLink using anonymized usage data to improve the platform

You may withdraw consent and delete your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.

4. Content You Post

Your Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you post on TribeLink, including photos, profile text, and messages. By posting content, you grant TribeLink a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content solely for the purpose of operating the TribeLink platform.

What This License Means

• We can display your photos and profile to other users as part of the service
• We can create thumbnails or resize photos for display optimization
• We will not use your photos or content in advertising without your separate written consent
• We will not license your content to third parties
• The license ends when you delete the content or close your account

Content Standards

You are responsible for everything you post. Content must not:

• Be false, misleading, or fraudulent
• Impersonate another person or falsely claim tribal identity
• Be sexually explicit (unless on age-verified, opt-in sections)
• Harass, threaten, or demean other users
• Be racist, discriminatory, or culturally disrespectful toward any tribe or Indigenous community
• Promote hate speech, violence, or illegal activity
• Violate another person's intellectual property rights
• Include spam, commercial solicitation, or pyramid schemes
• Contain malware, viruses, or malicious code

5. Community Standards — Cultural Respect

Our community standards reflect the values of respect, sovereignty, and dignity that are central to Indigenous communities. Violators will be permanently banned without refund.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation or advertising
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform
• Share another user's private messages or photos without their consent
• Engage in coordinated harassment or targeted abuse of any user
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
• Circumvent any safety feature, content filter, or account restriction

7. Safety and Reporting

TribeLink is committed to maintaining a safe platform. If you experience harassment, see a fake profile, or encounter any violation of these Terms, please report it using the in-app reporting tools or email safety@tribelink.app.

We investigate all reports promptly. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

8. Premium Features and Payments

TribeLink offers free and premium tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

• You authorize TribeLink to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings
• Refunds are issued at our discretion except where required by applicable consumer protection law
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

9. Intellectual Property

The TribeLink name, logo, design, and software are owned by TribeLink and protected by intellectual property law. You may not use our trademarks, copy our interface, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

TribeLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That you will find a match or romantic connection
• That all profiles are genuine or that users are who they say they are
• Uninterrupted, error-free operation of the platform
• The accuracy of tribal affiliation information provided by users

Use TribeLink at your own risk. Exercise the same caution you would with any online platform when meeting people in person.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TribeLink's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TribeLink harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time. TribeLink may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to the platform ends immediately
• Your profile is removed from public view
• Your data is deleted within 30 days (see Privacy Policy for exceptions)
• No refund is issued for remaining subscription time if terminated for cause

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to changes, you may close your account before they take effect.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. For disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at legal@tribelink.app — most issues can be resolved informally. If formal dispute resolution is required, you agree to binding arbitration on an individual (not class) basis, except where prohibited by law.
